 Chairman

COLEEN CRAWFORD, AMS, CMCA is the President of Desert Community Management.

Coleen is a long time Las Vegas resident.  As a mother of three and wife to a retired U.S. Army medic, Coleen traveled to many exotic locations always returning home to Las Vegas. 

 

In 1993 Coleen bought her first home in a homeowners association in the North West area of the Valley.  Getting her start in life in the bank and accounting world in New York. Experiencing life through her spouses military career, Coleen gained her work know-how in the community association business when she started with a small business as their receptionist/bookkeeper in 1993. Due to the growing business she stepped in and learned how to provide customer service to homeowners.

 

In 2001 Coleen’s military family retired to Las Vegas to continue with her Association Management career. Believing in education Coleen has received the Association Managers (AMS) and Community Managers Community Associations (CMCA) designations through the Community Associations Institute (CAI). Coleen has finished her Case Study to receive the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) the highest designation given with CAI.

 

At this time Coleen now owns her own company Desert Community Management LLC in the North West part of the Valley and continues to manage one of the Valley’s most renowned large-scale Master Planned golf Communities, Painted Desert Community Association, sub-associations located in the PDCA and other communities in the North West part of the valley.

 

Vice-Chair

CHERYL CORLEY, CAM is the CFO and owner of Cornerstone Community Association Management, Inc.

The first 15 years of Cheryl’s career began in the late 1970’s in the field of Commercial Property Management.  After completing her education at Eastern Washington University in 1988, she joined the Accounting industry.  The year of 1996 brought Cheryl and her family to Las Vegas where she continued her accounting practice and began providing professional consulting and tax services to Homeowner Associations.   In 2006, Cheryl returned to school, obtained her Community Association Manager License, and opened Cornerstone Community Association Management, Inc. with  the best business partner she could have ever found; her son.

Cheryl is committed to the highest standards of professionalism and business ethics, and has joined the Board of Directors at NACM to assist the organization in achieving its goals.  Cheryl also volunteers as a member of the Programs Committee for the Nevada Chapter of CAI.  Her ultimate goal is to increase the availability of educational programs for Community Managers in Nevada as well as become involved in the legislative process in an effort to bring reason and clarity of purpose to the Nevada lawmakers.

ROBERT B. HARPER, CCAM, CAM (Condominium Realty Group, Inc.) is with Regal Property Management, LLC

After finishing a stint In the U.S. Navy as a 2nd Class Hard Hat Diver and Senior Diver assigned to the diving locker at the Naval Support Headquarters, Nha Be, Vietnam and then graduating from the University of Detroit with a BBA degree.

He started his career in the early 1970’s as a Property Manager for the largest community management firm in Michigan.  In 1981 moved to Southern California where after serving as Vice President to two (2) management firms started his own management firm in 1985.  He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in California and Nevada and a Certified Community Association Manager in both states.  He is a founding member of the California Association of Community Managers and the Nevada Association of Community Managers where he currently serves as Vice Chair and member of the Education Committee.  Mr. Harper has served as the Bylaw Committee Chair and past member of the Public Relations Committee and served on the Finance Committee as well for the California Association of Community Managers.

 GERALD NORTHFIELD, SUPRCAM, PCAM is President of Performance CAM.

His first exposure to community management dates back to 1976. He volunteered as “Block Person” in his new community and was subsequently elected for 2 terms as Community Council President for over 12,500 people. Gerry and his family have resided in a variety of homeowner associations over the years.

Gerry holds the industry’s highest national accreditation as a Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM), and the State of Nevada Department of Business and Industry’s Real Estate Division’s Supervisory Community Manager Certificate.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois at Carbondale and did his Master studies in Human Resources – Organizational Development with Chapman College at San Diego.

Gerry is a husband of 46+ years, father to 6, grandfather to 14 and great grandfather to 8. He enjoys family, NASCAR, diving, travel, fishing and the many rewards of knowing many wonderful people and mentoring future industry professionals.

DUSTIN MARSHALL, CAM Is a portfolio manager at Complete Association Management Company.

Although Dustin is one of our newest and youngest members of the Board, he is extremely self motivated and strives for success.  He joined the Army while still in High School under the Split Option Training Program.  Dustin graduated Basic Combat Training the summer before his senior year.  He served in the Army Reserves for 6 years as a Fuel Systems Specialist before moving to Las Vegas and starting a family.  He started out in our industry 5 years ago as a Community Assistant and became a Certified Community Manager in 2007.  He is one of a handful of New Managers to obtain his Community Manager Certification with out being required to obtain a Provisional Manager Certificate.  Dustin joined NACM in January 2008 and served on the Education Committee until volunteering to serve on the Board of Directors.  The industry has opened its doors to Dustin and we look forward to seeing how far he will go.  Dustin and his Wife Alisha have 3 children.  He enjoys spending time with his family, playing Texas Hold’em Poker, Bowling and Watching NASCAR.
